The nurse said that this jab is going to hurt pretty much and it will hurt less jabbing on the butt. But it hurts like crazy all the same. 5.24am, Paris. At the struck of the clock at 12am, we were on the train towards the Eiffel Tower with a cup of 12 grapes for each of us. The spanish tradition was to have 12 grapes at each strike of the clock at 12am on 1 Jan, and that was what we did together with spanish friends. And of course, with Moet champagne in hand. After a week of trench, boots, scarf and daily china yoghurt in the cold, I'm home, after a not too pleasant flight, to the greens and smiling sun shine. This is one of the worst.
